Loving Lately

A few things I am loving lately:

 

These handscraped hard wood floors, and they are on sale. I think we just might buy them and put them in our house! Seriously in love.

 

Avocados. In any form. I recently tried out an avocado berry smoothie. Recipe to come soon.

I was loving the warm spring weather until it decided to snow today. Boo.

Loving that it is my birthday on Saturday and I turn 26...and I am 26 weeks today. 26 weeks pregnant turning 26 years old.

It was an extra hot day. Mia was a trooper. Probably because she knew she got a cupcake from One Sweet Slice at the end of the photo shoot. Thanks to my Awesome Sister in Law these photos turned out GREAT. They really highlight Mia's personality!

Sometimes late night sushi with the best of friends is just what you need, along with an all day pinning session of weddings.

Nano

As many of you remember, it was my birthday 2 weeks ago. I have been holding on to some of my leftover birthday $$ trying to decide what to do with it. I thought about spending the rest all on clothes .I did buy myself some really cute mint skinny jeans from Kohl's.

I love them! And I also bought some cute yellow capris from Kohl's as well. I am all into the colored denim right now!! I want every color. I was feeling pretty happy with all my new clothes purchases but wasn't sure I wanted to spend the rest of my bday money on more clothes. Trust me, a girl can never have too many clothes. I saw the new 6th generation Ipod Nanos and fell in love. I already have an ipod classic which I love. It has a huge capacity... and it is also big. I decided that I wanted something small and sleek to use while running. Plus, since I am training for a marathon I think the less weight I am carrying with me the better. I was at Target yesterday with my mom picking up some items for Easter and decided to check them out. I fell in love with the bright green one and so I bought it. It was kind of on an impulse but I am so happy with my decision! I've been listening to it all day today. I love that it has radio on it and a fitness tracker. And it is so tiny. The only thing I'm worried about is losing it since it is so small, but overall I couldn't be happier. Now it feels like I have extended my birthday!

Recipe for a PERFECT Birthday!

Here is my recipe for an {almost} Perfect Birthday:

Ingredients:

1. Have Sister fly in from Maryland to spend the weekend with you. Shop until you drop!

2. Get just what you wanted from the Mr. - a new sewing machine!

3. After running 17 miles with your friend you MUST go get a pedicure with your mom and sister.

 4. After getting a pedicure go to Lunch at Kneaders. Indulge in the yummiest cupcake they have.

 5. After more shopping meet up with all of family for dinner and have them sing to you.

6. After dinner meet up with all your friends and family at the movie theater.

7. Enjoy the movie event of the year: Hunger games.

Directions:
Mix all ingredients together in one day and ENJOY.
