Awards.

I wasn't in aww over many dresses so I'm going to skip the whole best dress spill and just tell you my favorite moments. When Jennifer Lawrence won the oscar. I loved when J. Lawr fell. Literally fell due to tears streaming down her face crying so hard, it was obvious you guys. ha.

Seriously loved this moment. Thank you J. Lawr.

On another note... Kristen Stewart looked like death, whoever said she looked amaze must be on drugs like she was last night (or so it looked)

It's sad when this is a good photo of you for the night. Nothing but a Train wreck.
Also, is it just me or does she always act like her life is hard?
It's like she has a chip on her shoulder everyday, hmmm must be hard dating edward.

New Room

Shortly after Christmas we bought Mia a big girl bed. It is a Pottery Barn white sleigh bed and she loves it! Now that she has a big girl bed her room needs a new makeover. So tomorrow I am painting her room this color:

After going through about 30 different paint swatches I decided that was the perfect one to compliment her new quilt currently being finished up by my mom. It will look just like this:

Then I will just need to buy her a new dresser, (I've been searching for the right one) and put some decor up on the walls. Any ideas on wall decor friends? My brain is feeling fried right now. Can't wait for the finished product!

I get buckets.

Confession. I have been on a youtube spree lately.
It's beginning to become a probably, but......
Holy Moly these videos are amazing.
The quoting of these videos has been off the charts.
A few of which are "I get Buckets." "Young Bloods." Rappity Hippity Hop."
"I think we all need a pep talk." "Life isn't a cereal." "Unless you dream is stupid."
"Right out to the chinny chin chin."

Too many youtubes, probably but I really can't stop.

Unfinished

I have a confession to make... I have a problem with starting projects and then never finishing them. And it is really starting to bother me.

1. Roman Shades for My Kitchen. Yep, started this project last APRIL. It has almost been a year, such a slacker. So I started working on them again last night. I want to get them finished within the next two weeks. If I work on them a little bit each night that should be feasible.

2. Hand Made Necklace. Not even sure when I started on this, probably sometime last summer. I semi put it together, brought it home to finish and well, it just got stashed in my craft organizer never to be touched again. It obviously needs to be put together again....

3. Fourth Of July Felt Wreath. Started working on this at the very end of June and barely finished cutting out the felt circles by the time the 4th of July rolled around. It came and went so I guess I decided to just put it away to work on for the next year. Definitely need to finish this before it passes me again this year!

I have about 3 upcoming projects that I really want to work on so I need to finish at least one or two of these before I start them. I will be making a spring wreath, pillows for Mia's new big girl bed, and wall art/pictures to hang up above baby boy's crib. Does anyone else proscratinate and then end up not finishing their projects like me? Please tell me I'm not the only one!

Friday Letters

Dear v-day, thanks for the flowers they were a nice touch. Dear snow, I think you are going to be here until August, not happy about that one. Dear weekend, I can't decide if I'm more excited about studying or going to a monster truck rally, probably studying. Dear mom, It is beyond wonderful to have you home again. 4 weeks on an empty fridge and nothing but chips and salsa is enough to make anyone go crazy.

Happy Valentines Day

7 years ago I had the worst Valentines Day EVER! My then boyfriend of about 5 years broke up with me. Lovely right? Luckily I met the true love of my life just about two weeks after. Just looking through our Valentines shared together over the last 7 years.

Bangs or no Bangs?

For the last two years I have been growing my hair and my bangs out. Before then, I always had side bangs for as long as I can remember. I kind of miss them, and it is about that time to go get my hair done. What I don't miss about them is pulling them back for running/exercising, the awkward growing out phases of them, those days when they just don't sit right. But I do like the way they look. What do you think?

Bangs...

Or No Bangs?

Decisions, Decisions.

Must Have- Face Moisturizer

It is no secret that it is DRY in Utah. I mean, we live in a desert. The winters are particularly dry and my skin, especially my face, does not do well. (Especially when our water softener decides to take the day off on some days.) There is one product that I absolutely cannot go without.

I am a long time Clinique user and was finally introduced to this product about 5 years ago. Let's just say it is a life saver. Even in the summers when the weather is super dry too. I put it on and it immediately makes my skin feel smooth and healthy. It's like a drink for my skin! Applying makeup is easier when I use this and I really cannot go a day without it.  What are your skin/makeup must haves? Please do share!

49ers Cupcakes

My dad always throws the best Superbowl parties filled with so much food you would think he had invited the whole neighborhood when really it is just our family! This year he asked me to make cupcakes - well, he specifically said "49ers cupcakes". I am not a huge football fan and I don't really have a team I am one of those people who cheers for the team that my family is rooting for. So it just so happens that we are rooting for the San Fransisco 49ers! Fine with me since I went on a vaction there this year!  I made a red velvet cupcake with cream cheese frosting and a white chocolate "SF" for garnish. Can't wait for good food, funny commercials and family time!

GO 49ers!

How We Found Out

My Hubby wasn't able to make it to our BIG ultrasound. I didn't want to find out our baby's gender without him but I knew I couldn't wait TOO long to find out what we were having. I invited my mom to come to the ultrasound with me and she had a fantastic idea. The night before she bought a boy and a girl onesie and two shipping envelopes. One labeled, "this is our baby" and one labeled, "not this one". At the ultrasound we had the x-ray tech leave the room and put the onesies in the correct envelopes. We met up with my hubby for lunch and opened the envelopes together.

First of all, my mom is the one recording, ha ha
And sorry for the super up-close of me

Here is our video:
