Remember how I said I had a BIG announcement?
Our little family of 3 will soon become a family of 4!!
Coming June 2013
We are thrilled and feel so blessed to be able to add to our family. If you remember back on Mother's day I wrote a post about my journey to becoming a mother. It was a road filled with frustration, infertility, IVF, fears and lots of tears. I would not change one thing about that journey because it blessed me with my little Princess and now by some miracle we are able to give our Princess a sibling (all natural - without the help of doctors!). God truly works in mysterious ways but he absolutely answers prayers and loves us!
How I found out:
It was the morning after I got home from my San Francisco trip. I was about a week late and honestly didn't think there was any way I was pregnant. Why didn't I think so? I had done ovulation testing ALL month long and did not get one positive test. I was actually feeling kind of down about it thinking that I wasn't ovulating. I decided to take a test anyway. It was a slight positive but I didn't think it was possible so I decided later that day I would go to the store and get some more tests. I bought some more tests but put it off until later. I was just busy going about my normal day. I made dinner and decided to finally take a test. It was positive. I called my hubby in and said, "dinner is ready, oh and I'm pregnant." We were so happy to say the least! I took about 6 more tests and each day the line got darker and darker. I waited a few days and just HAD to tell my mom & my sister. It's kind of hard to keep secrets from them anyways when they are always asking about how your fertility is going! We waited to tell the rest of the family on Thanksgiving Day where Mia wore a shirt that said, "Big Sister". It was so fun to see everyone's reactions as they looked at her shirt and figure it out.
