Tuesday.Loves.

It's Tuesday. Not always my favorite day of the week so I try to focus on the things I am *loving*.

1. Girls Dinner. Went to dinner with these lovelies aka my BFF's. We've been friends since 7th grade. NBD. Oh and the one 2nd from the left I've been friends with since 3rd grade. Yep, practically since we were babies. I love these girls.

2. Taylor Swift: Red. I bought this CD last week for myself as a treat. Let's just say the CD has been on repeat ever since. I'm totally loving every song on the CD. My favorites are, "All too well", "I almost do", " Everything has changed", "The Last Time- duet with Snow Patrol" and "Stay, Stay, Stay". Ok, so I might as well have listed every song on the CD...

#3. Homemade Bread. I made this homemade french bread last night and it is oh so delicious. I make it all the time. I love how easy it is and the way it makes your house smell amazing. Thanks sis for giving me the recipe over a year ago!

#4. Mommy/Daughter Lunch Date. I just got back from having a lunch date with Mia. I love this little girl more than anything in this world. So blessed that I get to spend everyday with her. She is literally the LIGHT of my life.

5. You- my fellow followers. Yep, you. Have I mentioned before how much I love the  blogging world? I really have met so many bloggers and made some great "online" friends. I love you all and hope you continue to enjoy and read our blog. We made it to 300 followers, WAHOO!

Happy Tuesday Everyone!

The voice

I took tedious notes last night... in my head while watching the voice so that I could give you my thoughts and opinions on what happened last night. Lets begin with what my own personal prediction was for the nights winner as well as my feelings about them..... starting with last place-

4. Chris Mann- He had a pretty good voice, but there was just something about him personality wise I didn't love, and did anyone else hear something at the end about him saying how hot she looked. Awkward. Also he kept giving Jermaine hugs after he was announced winner, didn't anyone else feel like he just kept doing it to be on TV.
3. Juliet Simms- She had some songs that I liked but I didn't enjoy listening to her voice for very long. Can we take a second to take about the wings she wore awhile back in the season, Props on the confidence she had to wear them... but I just wasn't a fan of them on her with the song too much too fast.
2. Jermaine Paul- He sang the I don't know what out the I believe I can fly song. He has great teeth, super white and bright. He seems to be the nicest guy on the block, you know the one that comes and snow blows your driveway before you can get out to do it.
1. (winner) Tony lucca- Every time I think of his name I say it in my head like Cee Lo does, Perfect. I never found him to be one dimensional like Christina said. Him and Adam look like besties, so I look forward to a few songs together. I could listen to a whole album of him and him & adam.

Jermaine and Tony were almost interchangeable. I liked both about the same and would be happy with either winning, but in the end I decided that I would want to listen to an entire album of Tony.

In the end I was happy with Jermaines Win, he deserved and I loved that blake was so proud to be his coach. I think he will be a great artist, wish him the best.

Just need to comment on how incredible Justin Biebers "Boyfriend" performances was. He made me want to be his girlfriend. Also I need to throw a little shout out in here about Cee Lo's shirt he kills me and I loved it.

Did anyone else find themselves fast forwarding through most of the performances where the finalists brought back contestants. I the only one I really loved was the group of four boys, that one was hot, they sounded sharp and look sharp. I loved listening to the boy finalists back up Hall & Oats as well. Other than that though I wasn't impressed.

Until next season, The Voice I bid you adieu.                    Next up, SYTYCD May 24th... I can't wait.

Shake It

Date night Wednesday, went well... better than expected. I told you all that I was ready to get my awkward on if the date was real awkward, and to my disappointment it wasn't even half bad nor was it awkward. I say to my disappointment because sometimes I just like to be awkward when situations get awkward, on this date though it wasn't even awkward the kid was actually pretty cool. Wow that was a lot of awkward word usage, I apologize.

Now for what I really want to talk about. I often will do the dishes and clean the kitchen at my house when no one is around. Actually cleaning and dishes is quite fun by yourself, you get to just take your time and feel clean. This has in fact been a secret of mine for some time and now I'm ready to share. All you need to have is a little Michael Franti blasting from your ipod or computer while doing dishes and cleaning and you're ensured to have a good time. If you don't have any Michael Franti go check him out and buy his album if ya dig it. Or definitely check out grooveshark and you can make a playlist of him and play it through your computer

Seriously I used to hate doing dishes till I blasted Michael, and now I love it. I guess what I'm saying is, find some music you love that is upbeat and makes you want to move. Then listen to that music as you do the dishes. It just makes you feel good. Maybe I even dance a little when Michael's song Shake It comes on when I clean, what's it to ya? Pretty sure you'll all being doing the same as soon as you blast those tunes.

Much Love,

nicole
